Diffrent acting mages

I was used to super-hard mages, that almost always cast the imp.invisibilty+spell immunity abjur+spell immunity div' combo.

Which makes them untouchable until you get RRoR.

But suddenly, mages(all of them) cast spell shield instead of spell immunity div'. Which makes them much much easier...I say that as a bad thing.

 

I was used to run around getting blasted by lavok, hoping that someone would survive enough time till spell imm div' would drop. Much harder the just casting True sight+breach×2.

 

Did I do somthing wrong?

Did the new version made mages weaker?

 

Another question,

Are the acesnsion+scs abazigal+sendai wont die bugs fixed now or do I still have to do it manually?
