pepd
Hello, i have been wanting to play BGT for a while, played it years ago, but didnt have time and leave it, i will probably play it in a year or a few months, been reading a little about mods and found this http://tamrielfoundry.com/topic/the-ultimate-baldurs-gate-experience/ I am looking for peoples opinions on mods for their personal "ultimate bg experience", any advice is good I will probably make one single play-through Also, about the BGEET and Siege of Dragonspear, any way to add its content to this modded non-enhancend BG? or to ad these mod to the EE? Roxanne
1) There is no way to add SoD to the old world of BGT 2) The BGEET is simply EET and it contains SoD or better explained, it makes one game out of BGEE+SoD and BG2EE+ToB 3) EET supports all mods listed here http://gibberlings3.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=27741&hl= which includes most of your wishlist. Note that stuff like 1pp or Tobex is already included in the EE games, so no need to add it by mods. 4) BGT was a great game experience and I played it for many years, i.e. until EET was developped. EET is much more stable, faster, easier to handle and has many things included already that needed to be fixed in BGT. Quote Link to comment
Jarno Mikkola
...d BG2EE+ToB*points & LMAO's* As that's BG2EE(SoA&ToB), not what ever the above tries to ... convey. And it's actually BGEET, as it comes from the words: Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition Trilogy. But people do usually just refer to it as EET.. ..EET is much more stable, faster, easier to handle and has many things included already that needed to be fixed in BGT.That's like totally your opinion mam. bob_veng
i also think that eet is more stable, and that's arguably the most important thing for a good, enjoyable experience Quote Link to comment
Vlan
What exactly do you guys define as stable? Quote Link to comment
Jarno Mikkola
What exactly do you guys define as stable? The general definition of it... The game doesn't crash, it has no amount of logical errors, and you can do what ever the cheese you want, and it still WORK as intended. Anything less than that, is less stable. And more then non perfect is more perfect, while still not entirely. Try for example, give a lich unending amount of TimeStop spells, and see what happens. Your game should end at some point, but usually doesn't... which means it's "unstable" by this definition. Edited October 9, 2017 by Jarno Mikkola Quote Link to comment
