AL|EN
Hi, I cannot find "Site/Forum Feedback" thread so I will use this topic: there is an bug with "Load more topics". How to reproduce: 1. Go to the Workroom Common Area subforum 2. Click at "Load more topics" Notice that "supposed new threads" are exactly the same from the first page. AL|EN
Another bug/question: Does the Workroom Common Area sub-forum is excluded from "View new content" I've missed whole "Hosting G3 Mods on GitHub" discussion... Quote Link to comment
Mike1072
there is an bug with "Load more topics". ... Notice that "supposed new threads" are exactly the same from the first page. This seems to be a problem with IPB and it's doubtful we can do anything about it. We may upgrade to IPB 4 in the future and the best we could hope is that they fixed that. Another bug/question: Does the Workroom Common Area sub-forum is excluded from "View new content" I've missed whole "Hosting G3 Mods on GitHub" discussion... I updated a bunch of the user permissions and groups because they were getting to be a mess. If you suddenly find yourself unable to access one of your old forums or with new access to something you don't think you're supposed to have, let me know. If you're now in the Modder group and have access to the Workroom Common Area, that's intentional. You didn't have access to this forum before and now you do. Quote Link to comment
lynx
Ups, too bad I didn't paste you a link explicitly — I guess you were still waiting for the fetcher fixes. So good to know: that place is limited to people within the "Modders" group. Edited January 19, 2016 by lynx Quote Link to comment
Mike1072
Yeah, the Workroom used to have very confusing privileges. We had all these customized privileges for specific people and the point of the Modder group wasn't really clear. Was it just for people who have stuff hosted at G3? That didn't make sense. Now anyone who's sort of involved in modding gets to be a modder (even Jarno). Quote Link to comment
AL|EN
Aditional question (polls are limited to 3): Yet another limitation to be removed Quote Link to comment
Mike1072
Thankfully, that can be changed. And it is done. Don't go making crazy long polls just because you can. Quote Link to comment
bob_veng
Hi! I'm not getting the acc validation e-mail for days. Pls halp! Quote Link to comment
Mike1072
Yeah, the forum email doesn't work sometimes. I try to manually validate any "awaiting authorization" members when I see one of their posts and confirm they're not a spambot. Quote Link to comment
AL|EN
http://camagna.net/ is often reported as Malnet. Could somebody move http://camagna.net/g3mirror/readme-cdtweaks.html to http://www.gibberlings3.net/readmes/readme-cdtweaks.html ? Quote Link to comment
Mike1072
We still lack access to the FTP, so no. You can view the readme on GitHub, though. Quote Link to comment
argent77
After updating Mozilla Firefox to version 49 I'm experiencing issues with the colors of certain text elements of the forums, which is very distracting. I've noticed a bright blue colored text on the main page, the "New content" page, the profile pages of each member and several other text elements all over the forum pages. Screenshot (main page): http://i.imgur.com/dvxpUUA.png Screenshot (profile): http://i.imgur.com/VMGGMJP.png Is there something you can fix? Quote Link to comment
Mike1072
I gave it a try, but it looks like it's no go. The G3 skin has a weird colour specified in the CSS: html, body { background: #ffffff !important; background-color: #ffffff !important; color: #03FF } The colour is ignored as invalid by Chrome and earlier Firefox versions but seems to be interpreted as a shade of blue with the latest Firefox. I was able to remove the line from the skin, but recaching the CSS files failed, so the forums are still referencing the old version. If you want to fix this on your end, you can use an addon like Stylus with this style: @namespace url(http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml); @-moz-document url-prefix("http://gibberlings3.net/forums/") { body { color: #5a5a5a; } } Quote Link to comment
argent77
Thanks. I was able to fix this issue on my end with the suggested addon. Quote Link to comment
