A few items worth mentioning:

1. Is anyone aware if Tortured Souls is being updated for EET? Probably the most interesting mod I'd love to see in EET in addition to what is there already.
2. Item Revisions is beta 15 now - and I believe BWS still downloads beta 10. Also it looks like there's an "Item Revisions Revised" basing on the IR forum - is it an option for EET Megamod install?
3. Soundset mods, in particular Alternate Xan soundsets. I'm pretty sure they should be compatible with EET, but they are not mentioned on the official mod list.

2. Iten Revision is still under development. With a mod of this complexity and dependencies to a large number of other mods, BWS cannot follow each intermediate update, We need to wait for a stable version. There is no special version requirement in EET,

This topic is focussed on support for EET installs by BWS. THIS IS NOT A WISHLIST OF MODS SOMEONE LIKES TO SEE IN EET.

BWS follows EET if it can, not the other way round. There is no intention to force something into EET by the back door,

It is not. The author just mentioned EET compatibility in his last version (from May 2017) and was surprised by my report (today) that it did not work.

 

Btw, some mods that are mentioned in EET list and even included into BWS repeatedly refuse to install for me:

 

Kelsey NPC (managed to install it after treatment with EET_modConverter )

Edwin Romance (yesterday EET_modConverter helped, today nothing worked)

Wilson Chronicles - expansion of the furry paragon (never managed to install)

 

Same error message every time:

I would be grateful if you would look into a report I got for bg1re and EET. The player used BWS to create and mod an EET install and chose to install bg1re (all components). What he got on the BG:EE weidu.log, though, was only the basic component (component[0]), none of the encounters. The weidu logs are in the spoiler tags here.

I understand nothing of how this works, but I noticed: in the first line, the component number 9 is missing - which is the Bartus component., This one works again as of v2.1. Also, component numbers 41 to 44 are missing (the new components from v2.x). What the second line is for, I don't know.

 

Did anyone else encounter problems with installing bg1re into an EET install by first installing to to BG:EE before the transition using BWS? Do you have an idea what happened for this player? Thank you very much in advance.

Vlad has retired, But just like Bhaal, he left his seeds behind before he left. All of BGT is there for him now - no need to lurk into EET.

It's not that it's TS, it's that that's ALREADY part of something else. Just like there's no room for BG2 Tweaks Packs, as the Tweaks Anniversary is the next version of that.

Looking at it, I see two instances for bg1re:

I understand nothing of how this works, but I noticed: in the first line, the component number 9 is missing - which is the Bartus component., This one works again as of v2.1. Also, component numbers 41 to 44 are missing (the new components from v2.x). What the second line is for, I don't know.

 

Did anyone else encounter problems with installing bg1re into an EET install by first installing to to BG:EE before the transition using BWS? Do you have an idea what happened for this player? Thank you very much in advance.

2. The new version 2.1 has different components now, this information was lost , it stops at 40

3. The information about component 9 being repaired was lost as well

 

Instead of just a version update, we need to do a complete reconfiguration of the mod. (I just wonder why this was not recognised by anyone before?).

Didn't expect that much hostility against TS. After all it was horred the plague who made it compatible with BP and megamod install in the first place and I personally never had any trouble with it. Never played any further versions or - God forbid - "Vlad's Compilation".

But whatever, I guess times have changed.

I don't have the patch for the very last version, but for TSv706, i didn't sail to brynlaw yet, but kachiko and Sime are fine, so if you still find the mod i can send you the patch

Vlad has retired, But just like Bhaal, he left his seeds behind before he left. All of BGT is there for him now - no need to lurk into EET.

The author of "chatty-Imoen" (AstroBryGuy ) is going to fix problem with EET as well, since mod was supposed to be compatible with EET since May. However, he can not insert it into BWS, since he works on Mac, and BWS does not support macOS.

It is not. The author just mentioned EET compatibility in his last version (from May 2017) and was surprised by my report (today) that it did not work.

 

Btw, some mods that are mentioned in EET list and even included into BWS repeatedly refuse to install for me:

 

Kelsey NPC (managed to install it after treatment with EET_modConverter )

Edwin Romance (yesterday EET_modConverter helped, today nothing worked)

Wilson Chronicles - expansion of the furry paragon (never managed to install)

 

Same error message every time:

 

ERROR: cannot resolve trigger 0x40df

ERROR: [AR4000.BCS] -> [override] Patching Failed (COPY) (Not_found)

There is one thing - all 3 mods come after Solaufein mod (installed with EET_modConverter help).

 

Not sure I can follow you - Solaufein mod is the Jastey mod or the Weimer one which you converted yourself?

 

And if ar4000,bcs is corrupted, then probably many mods you try to install afterwards fail - this is the stone head area for transition from SoA to ToB, so every mod with a ToB part for its NPC tries to access it.

BWS supports both in one part or another. For EET however, there is only your drow.

 

What I understood from Mirandel was, that she tried to convert the other one herself and failed - and now her script for ToB transition is spoiled.
