Bug in the grove of Tethyr (help please!)

Hi guys!

 

I've some serious problems with the grove of Tethyer, at the nearly end of the story.

 

I've killed Sendai, and Abazigal, returned to Amkethran and allied with Balthazar.

He had Melissan brought in, than the fight began. We killed her, and Balthazar adviced me to take a trip to the grove.

First I was silly, and tried to get there on foot (my character is not accustomed to godly steps through planes :p ), and I tried to leave the monastery.

Despite the fact of our alliance, Balthazar's monks still wanted to fight me, I've killed some of them, and fled to the pocketplane.

 

I've stepped to the grove through the plane. Several demons charged me, I've killed them easily. I1ve found a cambion and a fallen planetar (or deva?), but I've needed to kill them also.

Then it ended, I can't do anything, I cannot speak with the heads. When my cursor is on a head, the circlet of conversation is there, but clicking on it makes nothing, they're silent as a dead bug.

 

What can I do? Made I something wrong?

I've got several mods on, but on installation, nothing problematic happened.

 

Is there some possibility through CluaConsole, to make them speak, or I'm screwed near the end? :p

I've no idea what's going on there. Some suggestions:

 

- you need to wait for the fight with the Solar to be thoroughly over and all the demons to be dead. So try waiting a bit longer. (Resting, if you want to be really thorough).

- you could try CLUAConsole:SetGlobal("DMWWGrove","GLOBAL",1), and then try speaking to the heads

- maybe somehow the game's confused as to which chapter you're in - so you could try CLUAConsole:SetGlobal("chapter","GLOBAL",9).

- maybe for some reason the dialog file hasn't attached to all the heads, so you could try talking to more than one of them.

 

If none of that works, try posting your WEIDU.log file

I've tried all of your options, but none of them worked.

 

I arrive at the grove, find the demons and solar, there's a dialog, when I can ask of him, if he's mistress is Melissan, but any options I choose, the fight begins.

I kill all of them rather quickly (half a minute, maximum one), and then nothing. I wait a couple of minutes, sleep, try to speak with all of them, but they're mute.

I've also tried the ClueConsole, but nothing happens.

 

The initial dialog with the solar is the only one? Because I'm afraid, that I kill him too quickly, and it cannot begin a final one, or anything else.

 

 

Which part do you need from Weidu log? Because it's a massive one.

First I had Wheels 1.0, but the problem still existed in that one. Than I've tried with a REinstall, with version 2.0, but that hasn't solved the problem.

That's not your weidu.log file, it's your setup-wheels.debug file.

 

If you upgraded from v1 to v2 midgame, it's fairly possible that this has somehow led to the problem. (In particular, if you upgraded after arriving at the grove, it's nearly certain.)

 

There's only one - fairly brief - dialogue with the solar. After he's dead, you should be able to speak to the heads.

 

Try this (for my benefit, not because it directly fixes anything):

 

CLUAConsole:GetGlobal("DMWWGrove","GLOBAL")

 

and let me know what result is displayed in the box.

I have a bad clue, when I began the ToB, in the grove I spoke with all of the heads. Each one told me another piece of the prophecy, but I don't remember exactly, if it was too much info in that part of the game, or not.

 

Is it possible, that the mod mixed up something, and the heads told all info too early, with those, that I should get now?

 

The heads now stand still, in their eyes are blue gems, there isn't any fire, or stg.

If I'm reading that right, it means you'd been back to the grove before reinstalling. In that case, this is probably a bug in version 1 (which was unfortunately less stable than I'd hoped). Try reloading a save before you first went to the grove and carrying on from there.

Is there any possibility, to push forward the storyline, by provocating some episodes?

 

I've tried to Create Balthazar, but he only repeated me the dialog, which he'd done already after Melissan's death. Is there a chance, to make him tell any other things?

I've already tried one, after killing Abazigal (and Sendai), and returning to Amkethran. Alas it didn't worked, the problem is still existing. :p

OK, I'm running out of suggestions. I suspect this is some funny consequence of v1 that's persisted through the partial reinstall, but I can't be sure.

 

Try this if you like. Start a new game of ToB with version 2 installed. CLUAconsole yourself to the grove:

 

CLUAConsole:MoveToArea("dw#teth")

 

Kill the demons (CTRL-Y if you like), enter

 

CLUAConsole:SetGlobal("Chapter","GLOBAL",9)

 

and then try talking to the heads.

 

If that doesn't work, I suspect your install has got corrupted.
