Nifft
All of this is from the Edit section of the DLTCEP screen. When I create a new spell and try to save it, or even "Save as...", DLTCEP tells me "You opened it read-only!" and won't let me save. Same deal when I use the "Load Spell" button: I'm unable to "Save as..." a new spell. When I use "Load external spell", then I can see a checkbox which I can uncheck saying "Open read-only". If I open spells as external files, then I am able to save, but this is inconvenient. Would it be possible to allow "Save as..." to work even if the original spell was marked read-only? Thanks, -- N Link to comment
Kaeloree
That would be because you've got DLTCEP set up as read-only. What you need to do is hit the button in the bottom left-hand corner labelled 'Setup', and in 'Global preferences' on the right-hand side, untick 'read-only'. Link to comment
