CamDawg
Cheers JLE, I've added access for you to the BG Fixpack workroom. Take a look around; for the most part it's still at a discussion stage. Quote Link to comment
devSin
Can I get access to the forum? I need to make sure I cover everything and eventually get some linkage up for my "fix"pack. Eventually... Quote Link to comment
Miloch
And should I send the BG1 or the EasyTutu version of the file, given that EasyTutu seems to change the file name in many cases? In fact, in the case of (for instance) an amended .CRE, .STO or .SPL file, is it likely that the amended file will actually be converted correctly by EasyTutu? Given the fact EasyTutu doesn't handle Dudley stuff as it is, probably not. We're using BG1 as a base for the fixes. Eventually Macready may include the fixes in EasyTutu core, or we'll just enable a Tutu version of the fix as well. I'll PM you my e-mail where you can send the files (and hopefully some documentation on what you changed ). I'm trying to get everything folks have done together in a document of what's done and what needs to be done. @devSin: No. Now go away or I will taunt you a second time... (Actually, I thought you had access already...) Quote Link to comment
CamDawg
(Actually, I thought you had access already...) Heh, so did I. It's been added. Quote Link to comment
DalreiDal
Er, I do hope I am following Miloch's instructions correctly by posting here? I was told that a typo report for BG1 should be made here. It's in Safana's dialog when you first meet her. "...but in the south were I come from..." and "...my skills are of a thieving nature" missing a nature. Sorry if I'm at the wrong place... Alboy
Hi, These 2 books are unsellable in BG1. History of the Drow, The Dark Wars. History of Shadowdale - Doust Sulwood becomes Lord of Shadowdale. They are corrected in Easytutu & BG2 also. Alan PS Sorry for double post. Edited March 23, 2007 by Alboy Quote Link to comment
Miloch
Thanks for the reports - we'll look into them. Though I'm wondering if the books are already addressed (or should be addressed) in the Tweak Pack "Sellable Items" component? Maybe Cam can answer that. Quote Link to comment
CamDawg
For something as straightforward as books, Fixpack. For other items, Tweaks. Someone will object no matter which solution you choose anyway. Quote Link to comment
jastey
Maybe the following is useful for the fixpack (this is an extraction of the error report of my 3rd-and-still-not-working Tutu transition. CamDawg
These are already fixed I believe. I've already gone through and fixed all of the script and dialogue errors reported by NI. Quote Link to comment
jastey
I guessed something like that but the list was so nice. Quote Link to comment
Miloch
I rather like this one: [StateCheck] argument [STATE_DHARMED] not found in [State.IDS] Did the developers intend perhaps to have a "dharma" spell state? Quote Link to comment
CamDawg
...or they can't spell 'charmed'? Quote Link to comment
Miloch
Well, obviously. It was a weak attempt at humour - I don't know why I even bother with it on these forums sometimes . Quote Link to comment
Drew
The Dawg has no sense of humour. It's one of those unfortunate side-effects of being a robot. Quote Link to comment
