  1. Alabaster Sands is a small quest mod from the Athkatlan Grounds quest mod series, which adds new areas and quests to Shadow of Amn's main city location. There is one main quest, and a few smaller ones, all oriented around the titular area, which is nothing else but Athkatla's public beach. So visit the place, help those you'll meet there, and see this brand new part of the City of Coin. The mod adds 7 new quests that introduce new characters, items, and item graphics. The new version includes a French translation by Deratiseur. Download Forum
  2. Yoshimo Friendship has been updated to v5.0 and comes with a fix that should make the mod work better with Yoshimo Romance and EE Fixpack, as they all now share the same fix for the original game bug. Forum Download (SHS Downloads) Download (SHS GH) Special thanks to @skellytz for uploading the files and @CamDawg for the fix that is now included in this mod and in the romance mod.
  3. Yoshimo Romance is a mod for BG2: SoA & ToB that makes Yoshimo, an infamous bounty hunter from the original BG2 game, romanceable. Already curious, my friend? Are you already pondering what this mod includes? What kind of ToB content? Ah, that's excellent. Your curiosity is already a kind of payback. Keep in mind that this mod does not change Yoshimo's "fate", thus post-Spellhold portion of the romance is handled differently than in most romance mods. What's new in this version: - Minor text improvements - Improved compatibility with other mods - Changed components order (main-portrait-match => main-match-portrait) - Minor fix for one of the alternative portraits ("Improved Portrait 2") - The new original banter fix is now changed and it works as in EE Fixpack and Yoshimo Friendship v5.0 (code by CamDawg) - The loosened romance requirements now also require PC to have at least 13 charisma to romance Yoshimo (the component still eliminates race or gender restrictions) - The timer between talks changed from 50 to 80 minutes to stretch the romance slightly, considering you join Yoshimo early in the game and it does not have to progress so quickly - Tweaked dynamics with Yoshimo Friendship: if you start a romance, but tell Yoshimo you are not interested in a romantic relationship, the romance will now skip back to the friendship content (caution: some minor themes may overlap); if you do not meet the 13 charisma requirement (or gender/race requirement for the old romance check), the friendship content should kick in instead of the romance content - Improved compatibility for oBG2 and improved dreamy Candlekeep area by Acifer (v7.01) Links: download forum
  4. There is a new mod at Weasel Mods! It's Bethany and she hates cold! The mod adds a new companion, Bethany Vivielle Helena Corthala, a town medium (shaman kit) who always wanted to be a hat-maker. However, she has an ability to see the dead and it's really hard to be a fashion expert, attend all these social events, and show everyone how great you can be when you are haunted by the dead. So, she could use a little distraction and... fame, because it can be quite useful for someone who wants to open her own business when it's all over. Bethany can join the party right after you start a new game, and she can be found in Easthaven. She comes with a friendship, some items, interjections, and a mini-quest later in the game. Download Forums That's not all, though! Everyone who would like to try the new kit on BG(2)EE may be happy to hear that the kit may also be installed using Will of the Wisp mod. Version 3.0 also comes with some better IWDEE compatibility. No worries, though, as both Will of the Wisp and Bethany may detect each other and the kit won't be installed twice. Download Forums Special thanks to @morpheus562 who helped with both Bethany and the Will of the Wisp update.
  5. As far as I know. I don't know why it shouldn't
  6. Thanks, these will be fixed next time we update the mod. I'm tagging @jmaeq just so she also remembered about this Cheers!
  7. Found it! It's that script that's stopping the talk and the CutScene that ends the scene in the Tankard Tree: IF Global("HadJonDream2","GLOBAL",1) Global("HaveNotHadAnyImoenDreams","GLOBAL",0) THEN RESPONSE #100 SetGlobal("HaveNotHadAnyImoenDreams","GLOBAL",1) SetGlobalTimer("ImoenDreamRomance1","GLOBAL",ONE_DAY) END Your savegame matches those exact variables. I tried setting the variable to Global("HaveNotHadAnyImoenDreams","GLOBAL",1) and it all works fine. That confirms that these are actually two scripts from Imoen Romance that conflict with each other, it's not Yoshimo's Remorse. So it's kinda... not 101% thing, because apparently Imoen Romance may have a conflict with Imoen Romance
  8. I checked and it's not Yoshimo's Remorse. I installed Imoen Romance only, and got rid of Yoshimo entirely from the team and the bug still happens. I can tell you how to fix it, but it must be something in the game or Imoen Romance itself that causes the problem. There is some dream script that tried to fire in there. If you try to rest right before that scene, the tavern window will disappear (no matter if Yoshimo is there or not), as if something was supposed to happen. Some dream? Or maybe Imoen was supposed to approach you? I have no idea what, to be honest. It happens only once, and if you try to rest and THEN use the Tankard Tree option to spend some time with Imen, everything works as it should. That's because that script uses RestParty() which also tries to fire that unknown something mid-cutscene. So since it's not Yoshimo-related, you do not need to get rid of him, just try resting first, the unknown script will try to fire some scene for Player1, and then use the quality time option - with or without Yoshimo in the team, it doesn't matter.
  9. No, and I am not even sure if I still have those talks, as I reached out to her like 3 years ago, and the talks weren't included in the initial message, but it was more like if she would like to take a look at them. I changed my PC since then. What could be cool, however, is if she could let people know if it's ok to write crossmod content with her mod. I am sure it's not just me who'd like that. Ideally, she could post such information in LR thread, that would make it all clear for many modders...
  10. It was years ago and I helped because I was the one who received ToB content from the authors. I managed to finish what was unfinished and got it released with the help of others. I think the best approach is to post your files and request to update the file (perhaps translate it with Google Translate) at the place where the mod is actually hosted: http://www.shsforums.net/forum/322-fade/ I believe asking SHS Staff is the best way to go with this.
  11. It's not uncommon for some mods to include crossmod talks in the NPC mod. With time, they are often additionally included in the pack (so the install order of the NPCs no longer matters, as long as the Crossmod Pack is installed as the last one). As long as they use the same variables, there is no need to worry about that, because it's the variables that matter; they are checked and trigger talks, so the banters won't show up twice or anything. I checked Adrian-Arath talks - they use the same variables.
  12. It may be important info: version of "In Love, Undeath" are you using? The previous one suffered from using ' symbol in the kit name and it got updated, but I believe that might have been affecting some table in previous versions of IL,U and ToF. It should work fine now, I guess.
