Mac IE Game Info Needed

I'm looking for the names of the main executables for the various IE games that run on Mac OS - that is, (I think) BG1, BG2, and IWD. Specifically, what I need is the equivalent file to 'bgmain.exe' on BG2/Windows - the one that, when clicked on, actually runs the game - rather than any equivalent to BG2/Windows 'baldur.exe', which brings up an ugly menuthing to launch bgmain.exe or the various config apps.

Mac BG1: "Baldur's Gate" (although some versions have the version number appended to the name, e.g. "Baldur's Gate 1.02d3")

Mac BG1 TotSC: "Tales of the Sword Coast"

Mac BG2 SoA: "Baldur's Gate II Mac OS X" (OS 10.x) or "Baldur's Gate II" (OS 9.x)

Mac BG2 ToB: "Baldur's Gate II"

Since I've no idea where my copy of IWD is I can't be sure, but IIRC the name of its executable is simply "Icewind Dale".

Thanks Gorylum :p

Next question: what is the equivalent file to BG2/Windows' 'baldur.ini' in those games? Does it have the same syntax (key/value pairs joined by '=', one per line, comments in []); and is there a key 'hd0' that points at the directory it's installed in?

And are there any regular files (non-directories) in the games that are edited in-place by mods?

I believe the Mac baldur.ini files are basically identical to their PC counterparts, with differences in default paths being one exception. I've never done any line-by-line comparisons, but I believe there are no differences in syntax. Key/value pairs are joined by '=', only one per line - I'll check later if comments are bracketed, I'm not 100% certain off-hand. IIRC 'hd0' (and the cd* entries) works slightly differently in that it uses a path relative to the .ini file (typically 'x:.\') rather than an absolute one - which I believe the PC equivalents use?

Do you mean any such files specific to the platform? There aren't any that I'm aware of.

No need; based on the rest of your post, that point is moot.

They do? That makes me very happy. :p

Yeah, they do, which - as you would expect - causes problems sometimes. :p

But, from what you've told me, the Mac games are properly relocatable - is that right? If it is, it makes my life quite a bit easier.

I mean aside from dialog{,f}.tlk and chitin.key ; but yes, AFAIK, any of these would be specific to the platform.

Yep, in my experience one can shuffle these games around with impunity. :p

Right, I'm ca. 99 % certain that there aren't any such files to worry about (with the BG games, at least).
