problem w antimagic not targeting past invisibility (SR+SCSII)

Sorry for a double post, but I hope someone can help with this game breaker:

Running BGII and BGTUTU under wineskin in MacOS with some standard mods.

None of the antimagic spells (spell thrust, pierce shield etc.) seem to target improved invisible characters despite my selection of this option at mod install. Also, I seem not to have the old legacy option of making antimagic area effect targetable.

This is a game breaker for me as I only play hardcore, no-reloads and a single mage that runs invisible with spell protections can be game ender.

Any advice welcome.

Well, SR modifies spells to penetrate invisibility. So I suspect installing the SCSII component that does essentially the same thing is a bad idea. I don't recall if they even try to be compatible.
Currently, SR V3.1 does it "the old way", by granting Spell Thrust, Ruby Ray and Spellstrike an AoE. SCS instead uses ToBEx to flag (all?) spell removals to simply ignore/bypass Improved Invisibility. Anyway, I always assumed installing SCS after SR (which is what the player correctly did) would simply add those flags to SR's spells making them ignore II. Was I wrong?

P.S If something has to be done on my side (aka within SR) to improve the compatibility let me know, it's a really bad time for me but for compatibility or bug fixing I can always find some time.

Do I understand correctly that, I have to:

- clean install BGII + TUTU from scratch

- install SR

- install SCSII *but* not install the option in SCSII for "antimagic bypasses invisibility"

That's unnecessarily drastic. Just run setup-scsii and uninstall that one component. (Then go and have a coffee, because it'll take 15-20 minutes for it to sort itself out.)

would this work?

Probably; try it and see.

@Demi: I shouldn't worry. The obvious "compatibility patch" is: don't install the redundant SCSII component.
