I know of no way to overcome those, you can even kill plot creatures that way and thereby kill your game as well. But that has always been the case.

Multiple items have ways to provide immunity to some or even all of those opcodes(op101). ... that's why the minhp1.itm is actually used so widely. But there's no way to protect from Kill(Myself)... unless you go and remove scripts via a script(op82) and then apply an effect that provides immunity to that effect... which then can't be removed and might kill the creature, given that one can extend that script.
