Version 30 of Sword Coast Stratagems released

As usual, the release cycle for SCS involves waiting 6-15 months for version N, then about 3 days for version N+1 as people find the bugs that slipped into version N.

Version 30 is now out. It catches several awkward bugs that slipped into EasyTUTU/BG1EE installs, and some more smaller things in BG2 (notably, I think in v29 liches were *still* not being affected by the breach spell!)

EDIT: just added the Polish translation, which I spotted 10 seconds after first upload.

Change-log:

Updated Polish translation (thanks, Bartek)

"Modify breach" really and truly affects liches this time. (Maybe? Maybe?)

"Skip candlekeep" classic version works correctly.

Ease-of-use AI installs correctly on BGEE/TUTU installs.

Fixed cosmetic problem with werewolf tokens.

NPC precast blade barriers now work.

Under-the-hood change: vampire and lich simulacrum-immunity spells are now auto-built from the corresponding items.

Slightly more forgiving code to allow for Ding0Tweaks (probably fixes the false positive that's blocking vanilla TUTU installs)

Thanks David. Works for me as does the autoinstaller which I had problems with in v29 when it wasn't finding setup-stratagems, although don't know if you did anything there! Be interested to see a IWD SCS as you mentioned in the other thread if you ever did one, would anything you've done for BG be directly portable into the new mod freeing up time for some improved encounters?

I didn't notice the French one in time, sorry. V31. (Likewise the Chinese one). Since I've only just done v30 and since experience says there's a 50% chance of having to do another update within a week, I'll wait till then before implementing.

Nothing at all; I'm happy it's now working but I've no idea why.

Basically, no: the two games use radically differently structured AI systems.

This fixed the two issues I had on EasyTutu when trying to install SCS. I’d need to do a full playthrough to make sure everything works fine, but so far so good, and no apparent incompatibilities with other mods—though I try to be minimalist in general. Great job and thank you!

Can somebody explain why there are two ssl scripts,, one normal and one with .bak extension now?

example:

flame_arrows.ssl

flame_arrows.ssl.bak

Are these .bak "legacy code"? I noticed that clck26 is usually swapped with DirectDamageSafe trigger.
