[Mac OS X] CTD during BG2 Kivan's pre-joined dialogue, v13

Latest installation woes...

 

In my latest attempted stable play installation, I get a CTD when Kivan approaches the party, after his first two lines. If Minsc is in the party, he'll fire off a line after Kivan's second "It's not safe" line, and then the crash happens before Kivan's dialogue presents the player with response choices. This happens in both single- and multiplayer modes.

 

Here is my weidu.log for this installation, but I'm not sure if that helps. How should I troubleshoot and (hopefully) solve this issue? The only way I've found to get past it is to ctrl-Y kill Kivan, and that's not an acceptable solution, as I prefer to play the mod.
