My opinion is that this mod is degrading most of affected NPCs and mainly the main character itself. Haven't tried all the options but what I 've seen is enough. Especially options for female protagonist are just corrupting: prostitution, seductions and more. Is it the kind of behaviour to promote? Of course not. It is offensive, immoral and damaging to the mind and soul alike. You can argue that some of the situations are written / to be treated "lightly" but the content is degrading nevertheless. Don't download it.

There we go again.

My suggestion to people is a bit different. Before you play a mod, please read its readme file. It is called readme for a reason.

The components of this mod (and that of BG1 RE as well) are well written and in character with the respective NPCs. If you tried a "Romance" with a scoundrel who kills people for fun, what did you expect the dialogue to be ? Did you expect flowers and a stroll under the moonlight ?

Saying that the mod has immoral content and promotes prostitution and stuff is grossly unfair to the mod authors's effort. Because they tried to portray some NPC's personality accurately, it doesn't mean that they promote this behavior. With your thinking, the old testament promotes violence and all of us should kill each other.

Let's also not forget that we are talking about a game where you are the son of Bhaal, where battle plays a significant part of the game and that the game allows you to take certain decisions that result in a lot of violence. You can exterminate a whole xvart village for no purpose other than fun. You can kill wolves and bears so the vanilla game promotes animal torturing :). We could go for days mentioning stuff like that. I find hugely hypocritical that someone's soul will not be harmed by slaughtering entire villages but will be harmed by a simple dialogue.

I am not a novels writer so my opinion about its content doesn't hold much more weight than yours, but my opinion is that they mod is great and i suggest people to try it.

Says the one who complaint in the other thread about missing erotic content where there is just a fade-to-black. Rrrrrright.

there's always the...  'special snowflake'. Reminds me of another forum.. from a 'zombie game' where you can chop off every body part with loads of blood and splatter or using a golf club style swing to lob of the head of crawling zombie or seeing your own helpless character being ripped apart by zombies.. and that one guy came in and said his little kids are playing this game and the swear words used by your character occasionally are something he would like to see removed, because that's not for little kids to hear... riiiiight.
