Wisp
Version 4 of Item Randomiser has now been released. Download Readme A few highlights of what's new in this release: Normally you find 3 WIS tomes in BG1. The third tome can now optionally be given a chance of becoming one of the other 5 tomes. Consequently, you would be equally likely to find e.g. a second STR or INT tome as you would be of finding a third WIS tome. You will now have an easier time manually editing parts of Item Randomiser before installing it. More information on this will be coming shortly. You can now have Gromnir changed from his original, weird, Kensai-Barbarian-Fighter hybrid into a proper Barbarian. If the idea of dragons benefiting from helmets or beholders benefiting from armour disturbs you, you now have the option of correcting all such cases Item Randomiser is responsible for. You can now start a new game in ToB while using Mode 1. If you think there are too many items being randomised, or you'd like to have an additional layer of randomness, you now have the option of randomly having items not being randomised. This randomisation is, by necessity, done at install time and is not affected by starting new games. If you thought 10% chance of items being lost was too low or too high, you can now specify the chance yourself when you install the mod. As you may notice, there aren't many new items being randomised in this release. Version 5 will be focusing more on this. As usual I wouldn't not recommend reinstalling the mod without starting a new game. However, there are few places where you can get away with it. Mode 1: If you are using BGT and are about to enter BG2. Mode 2: If you are using BGT and are about to enter BG2 or if you haven't been to Watcher's Keep and are about to start ToB. Link to comment

Igneous
Awesome work, Wisp! Indeed, this looks to be the randomiser to end all randomisers. A majestic distinction, I think you'll agree. Link to comment
Wisp
Thank you. Incidentally, those who install Mode 1 on Tutu or BGT may notice some additional text flashing by in the command window. It is harmless. It's just some debug info I forgot to remove. Link to comment
