Hi guys,

I'm playing SCS II and I'm regretting not having installed the complete pre-buff package for Priests and Mages. Would you guys think it save to install it now (I'm a good 8 or 9 hours into the game)?

Here's where it's placed in my log:

You have lost your mind... ps, if you read the line you indicate, you actually see that you use the v28 of SCS, not SCSII, making this the wrong forum...

But back to the point, I wouldn't suggest that you use the weidu.exe's reinstall for a few reasons, the Item randomiser being one... the save games dialog.tlk string references being the second, ahh and so forth.

Lost my mind how?

As for forum, well, SCSII has been deprecated I thought. So why have the forum at all if it isn't for discussion of BG2 SCS?

Using weidu-exe's reinstall; eh, do you mean just use stratagems-setup? That was the plan. Or is there some other way?

Anyway, as you see, my question is whether it will fuck something up or not. If you're saying it will, then just say that and I'll avoid the re-install.

You'll figure it out someday...

Well, to not "hide" things from the people. The forums can be searched and used as a reference material ... also it's a mind test of madness. And the SCSII v24 is still ... alive.

Anyway, as you see, my question is whether it will fuck something up or not. If you're saying it will, then just say that and I'll avoid the re-install.

It will... well there's a 95% chance that your save game will have feature that you can detect being off, there's a say 50% chance that you can manage the fix by cheating a few things, and there's 5% chance that even if you start a completely new game, your game is still bugged after the reinstall of all those mods.

"Yeah, Grunker, re-installing that component is probably not a good idea unless you're in for some iffy behavior." - "Great, Jarno, thanks! It's awesome having you tech-smart guys around for us amateurs."

bullshitses!!

v28 install on BG1EE, BG2EE

on classic BG2 install v21 you dumb... oops, wrong forum

whats the problem btw? uninstall casul component first, then install pro componet second. Today is czwartek, you call it thursday IIRC, 8:20 now. Estimated time when reinstallation process will be finished is friday 8:27 plus minus couple of hours. Dude, weekend comes and you are all happy!!

and of course, entire process is completely safe and will not harm your savegame in any way, I swear!
