TinyMage
Seems in his special stash he sells as many freedom scrolls as you can buy. So far I've bought over 20. Link to comment
Rastor
I really don't see this as a bug. Link to comment
Kish
Me either. Considering the difference in price between Freedom scrolls and every other ninth level scroll, I think it's pretty obvious that Bioware wanted the PC to have access to as many Freedom scrolls as s/he might need during the game. SimDing0
Which doesn't entirely explain why he's the only person to sell an infinite supply or why they opted to put it in his special rather than regular store. Link to comment
devSin
I've always agreed with Sim about the stores, but I guess there's no clear indication for the Freedom scroll. It's pretty worthless, anyway, so I don't think it much matters. Link to comment
Caedwyr
Unlimited Freedom scrolls was placed there so players weren't SoL if they got party members Imprisoned Multiple times. I'm not sure if I remember right, but I think the Duegar merchants in the underdark also sell unlimited Freedom scrolls. Link to comment
hlidskialf
Unlimited Freedom scrolls was placed there so players weren't SoL if they got party members Imprisoned Multiple times. I'm not sure if I remember right, but I think the Duegar merchants in the underdark also sell unlimited Freedom scrolls. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> IIRC the store for them only sells four freedom scrolls. CamDawg
One of the Trademeet merchants sells 3, Bernard has 1, and the Duergar have 4 or 1 depending on your appearance. Ribald's store does have a quantity set (1), but it's being overridden by the infinite flag. While I normally think we should remove infinite (magic) items from stores wherever we find them, in this case I'm inclined to agree with everyone else and leave them as is. Link to comment
devSin
I think it sucks, but I agree that appropriate solution here is none, and this can get moved to no action. Link to comment
SimDing0
While I'm vaguely prepared to tolerate unlimited Freedom scrolls, did we agree to fix the other stupid stuff like unlimited Spears? If not, that should be Optional But Cool at the very least. Link to comment
devSin
SConrad was going to do it, but I don't think anybody could ever agree. There should be a general "stores suck" thread floating around somewhere. Link to comment
the bigg
Isn't that good for stuff such as, say, Ghrey's Throwing Spears? Link to comment
