Magus
Does absense of "Party required" flag ever work on area edges? It doesn't seem so for me.(I'm not asking about region flags here) Link to comment
lynx
Maybe if it was a travel region to a subarea. I can't think of any now, so afaik all are master-master links. Link to comment

(I'm not asking about region flags here) No. Even when I created new areas from scratch, the game interpreted the absence of a travel trigger on the area edges as the default which is 1. require party 2. call up the worldmap 3. autosave the game When you *fake* this behaviour by putting a large travel trigger all along the edges you would be free to define the behaviour as you like it, however you are limited to state just one target area and its entry point and no way to call the worldmap. I admit these statements are from experience and trial and error, I never saw the code that triggers above described default behaviour. Link to comment
Avenger
Where would be the party required flag for edge travel? If there was ever such a flag, it was only in vanilla BG1 (but i never seen it working). Link to comment
