Kivan doesn't want to talk to me anyome?

Hey,

First of all I want to say that I really love the Kivan mod - you've done some great work!

However, I had some problem with it recently:

I had Kivan leaving my Party and then rejoin me at a later point in the game. Now every time when he (or the main character) is initiating a dialog all Kivan says is "Why do you want to waste my time with idle bantering?" or something like that. Is there any solution to this?
