Jiggaman391@yahoo.com
Does anyone know how I can correct a size issue on the mini-maps in IETME? When I test the area it works, but the mini map is skewed when you check it. Like you're walking on the side of the black area instead of the map. The map seems jsut a little too small and your characters aren't where you think they are. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong? Link to comment
Idobek
No idea. I think that DLTCEP can rebuild a minimap for you though. Link to comment
Guest Seifer
This is a new build in IETME I assume? Have you rendered the area in a 3d application and then altered it in IETME? Link to comment
Jiggaman391@yahoo.com
No, I think the build is 2.2. If DLTCEP can do it cool, but one question - how do I setup DLTCEP? I unzip it and run it and it can't find this or that - so I stopped using it. I'n sure there's a solution, but I had other programs that I thought could do it - so i did the only responsible thing any one else would do - I ran away . If you could help me with it guys I'd appreciate it. Thanks for answering. Link to comment

Anyone know what I'm doing wrong The reason that the mini-maps are skewed is because IWD handles the ratio differently than BGII does. IETME saves the mini-map with the BGII ratio. I dunno if DLTCEP is able to save mini-maps with IWD's ratio or not. Link to comment
Jiggaman391@yahoo.com
Hmm. perhaps a little pre-mature partying on my part. Ok, any suggestions anyone? Link to comment
Idobek
Have you tried DLTCEP yet? Link to comment
Jiggaman391@yahoo.com
NOPE! Figured it out IETME makes the maps too small for IWD, but the maps are divisible by 8 If yo take the size 3840x2800 and divide by 8 you get 480x360 perfect map size What I did was extract the map with Infinity Explorer Rezise the mini-map in photoshop save as Jpg or Bmp Open mini-map in MOS Workshop, - save as MOS! It worked like a dream!! Also it works backwards! If you know how many tiles a map is (60x45) the multiply both by 8 and you got the map size again - 480x360! Sweet! Link to comment
