Now this java-thing.. How is it I'm getting it to run? I've only shortly worked with java, and that's over a year ago.. And I used eclipse for all my programming..

 

What file am I going to run and how?

doubleclick on the .jar file and if you have java installed on your PC it will just run.

You must be looking at it with Winrar or similar. The jar file is a set of compressed Java modules or programs, similar to a zipfile but with the important exception that the program(s) are designed to be run from inside the compressed file. RightClick - Save As. If your zip program is still insisting on decompressing it into the java and class files, disable the zip program while downloading, then go into the zip program's options and tell it *not* to decompress jar files.

Now I've got the .jar-file.. But when running it an errormessage tells me the main class is missing..

 

How do I get the main class and put it into the .jar?

You need to upgrade your Java runtime - you currently need the latest Java SE from java.sun.com (the one at java.com is an older version, which doesn't work with MIT).

If upgrading isn't an option for you, I am planning a new release in the near future, in which I hope to have this problem solved.

The latest dev build should now support Java 1.5.0 . Does this one work for you?

I use J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 11..

 

But the MIT 5.1.10 works.. so thanks..

Yeah, Java's versioning system is... odd. Java 1.5.0 and Java 5.0 refer to exactly the same version. Except one's for developers, and one's for users. Or something.
