Bug with Chapter 5 Quest: Marek and Lothander

Tested this with a vanilla install of BG EE and after picking up the potion from Marek my party healed themselves. However, in EET after picking up the real potions (10x) there is no automatic drinking animation to cure your party and drinking the potion individually does nothing for the group meaning your party will die once the time has elapsed.

 

I created 2 saves for this issue.

This link is for the save before the quest starts in the central district in baldur's gate.

 

Hopefully this is just a lingering issue from the 2.5 upgrade. I've found that using the console commands to heal the party does work but does not award the EXP or finish the quest.

yep, patch 2.5 related issue (the potion now sets local variable, so it has to be imported from BG:EE instead of using BG2:EE version of the same item). Place this file in override and drink the potion as player1.

From what I see in scripts other characters don't have to drink it. Thanks, will be fixed in the next version.
