Kulyok Posted October 3, 2010 Author Share Posted October 3, 2010 Set Debug Mode=1 in baldur.ini file, then play the game, enter ctrl-space(or ctrl-shift in IWD, I think), and type CLUACONSOLE:SetGlobal("RE_IlonaFlirtAerie","GLOBAL",2) It should work without the console, though. Maybe some glitch or the other? Send me your game to kulyok, at yandex.ru, please(before trying the console, just zip the directory with the name of your game in "save" folder). Link to comment
Bex Posted April 8, 2011 Share Posted April 8, 2011 Suggested addition of forced rest to be included with Isabelle component, since she's got a morning after dialogue that specifically refers to waking up together. This is my first time playing RE with a male, and I haven't gotten to all the encounters, but that's the only one where this lack seemed strange. Sheri and Ilona and Ada didn't seem to want to sleep.... On a related note, is it in any way possible to advance the game clock during these encounters? It feels a teensy bit non-immersive to not have any hours pass during intimate engagements, though this is a minor complaint. The thugs in the Anne sequence have long swords, but these aren't equipped, so they can only attack with their fists if you pick a fight. If this wasn't an intentional decision to make them extra-wimpy, they should use their swords. If they're meant to just ineffectually punch away while you kill them, the swords should maybe be removed. (This component makes me wish it could have Virtue integration.) Link to comment

I agree that adding a rest cutscene to Isabella("hold her for the rest of the night") is likely a good idea. I'd want to check with the component's author, naturally. I'll check for the swords, too - that's probably a glitch. As for the game time, I'm not sure: we emulate rest cutscenes, because otherwise "resting" inside a RE would interfere with companions's dream banters and Irenicus's dreams. Advancing the game clock would be a natural extension of the idea, but I am not aware of a specific game action which would advance the clock just as the normal rest does - 8 hours sharp. ToB list of actions has a DayNight() command, which sets specific game time, but that'd advance the game for up to 24 hours, which is not good. Link to comment
Bex Posted April 8, 2011 Share Posted April 8, 2011 Even eight hours seems excessive for all encounters, but that makes it even harder, if it can be done at all. Sheri would be 8, but without sleep. I could see the entire Ilona scene including dinner being about the same. But I think Ada would be more like 3 or 4 hours. 24 hours, definitely too much. I could have sworn that in a prior playthrough, I had a dream trigger in the middle of an RE and everything worked flawlessly, but it would have been with your 1st release, and it was quite long ago anyway. It is a nitpick, if I may say so, and as you, Kulyok already mentioned, there is no possibility to advance it by a couple of hours (other than the 8 hours rest). The problem with the existing game time actions is that we don't know when (in-game time) the player is playing the encounter, so changing day / night could lead to people loosing a whole day for other quests (like NPC quests that have sometimes only 2 day timers anyway.) That the PC shouldn't amuse himself in this way in this case is a different thing. Link to comment

onerous Posted January 5, 2012 Share Posted January 5, 2012 There's a bug with the Solaufein encounter increasing the SolaufeinLike variable. If you refuse to sleep with him and do other actions that increase his like variable you can end up with SolaufeinLike = 4 (or possibly greater). This gives the "No valid replies or links" error when he tried to give you the fake dragon eggs to fool Phaere. I changed the variable to 3 and the conversation worked as intended. Link to comment
