Aec'Letec crash on spawn

That's the default, at least in the EE. What was it with your mod setup before you made that change?

By the way, here's what SCS does to Aec'Letec's sprite. The fiend component recognizes him as a nabassu and sets it to TANARRI. Which is only a change if something else changed him first. So, this isn't an SCS problem. Either something before SCS swapped out his script so he wasn't recognized as a nabassu, or something after SCS changed his sprite.

It was FIEND_GREEN before.

Searching for "Aec'Letec crash" led me to:

where it was suggested to make the change.

There were three players with this crash mentioned there. Between the four of us, the mods we have in common are CDTweaks and SCS. Maybe this is a CDTweaks issue?

Edit 2: I came across this line in the readme: "On Enhanced-edition installs, the component also recolors Nabassus (they become green) to make them visually distinguishable from Balors. (You can deactivate this via the Customization options if you want to.)"
